6 Important Things To Consider When Designing Your Bedroom

The bedroom is one of the most important rooms in our house. In designing our bedroom, we try to make it to become as comfortable as possible. Because we all need to have a good rest so we can do all of our activities on the next day with fresh body and mind.

Here are several things to concern when designing and decorating a bedroom:
1. Pay attention to safety. Use high quality fire-resistant Mattresses for every bedroom in your house (including your children’s) for best protection. In fact, use fire-resistant fabrics for every element in the bedroom when possible.

2. Use high quality Mattress that is not beautifully designed only, but also can give you healthy and nice sleeps. The Mattress should support your body well in accordance with your body weight (can be different for each person). This is important to avoid you from having a back pain. You can choose Mattresses and bedding accessories from trusted brands and match with your needs.

3. Use soft lighting to achieve a nice, comfortable and relaxing ambience. You may want to put a reading lamp beside your bed so you can still read your favorite novel clearly before going to bed. For extra comfort, you can also use remote control dimmer lamp so you can set different light settings for different moods.

4. Use the most comfortable colors for the walls. This can be very personal since the favorite color and the effects to a person might be different to another person. You can use light lemon yellow to give you a fresh feel when waking up in the morning, or fresh apple green to give you a feel of sleeping in an open meadow, or even warm red to give you an exotic and romantic ambiance. It’s all up to you. Unless you have much extra time to re-paint your bedroom walls, use the color that you’re most comfortable with and won’t get bored easily. Remember, you will spend most of your time in your bedroom.

5. Beside paying attention to the artistic elements, you need to make your bedroom a healthy place to rest. Maintain a ‘healthy’ temperature in your bedroom (the ideal temperature for sleeping is 65 degrees Fahrenheit). Also keep the air circulation well and keep the humidity in an ideal level.

6. Minimalist style is relatively suitable for bedroom design. With minimal items of decoration you won’t need much effort to keep it tidy.(Most of the time, when getting home from your tiring routine activities, you will find yourself too tired to clean up and just want to sleep immediately).
